Corporate and Community Events in Lake Nona
Corporate Campuses
Lake Nona is home to Lake Nona Medical City, with Nemours Children’s Hospital, the Orlando VA Medical Center, and UCF and UF health sciences campuses. It’s also home to KPMG Lakehouse, KPMG’s national training center, and the USTA National Campus. Training cohorts and campus teams often gather at the same time, so a fast iced coffee line fits these events well. See our corporate coffee catering.
Apartment Communities and Neighborhoods
Lake Nona has a growing mix of apartment communities near Town Center and residential villages like Laureate Park. Our resident events program handles turnout, setup, and service, so leasing teams just host. Property teams can start with a free tasting.
Lake Nona Venues to Consider
Always confirm outside vendor policies with your venue before booking.
Lake Nona Town Center
A 100-acre open-air district that hosts hundreds of events a year. Outdoor, so plan for shade and a covered backup spot.
Lake Nona Wave Hotel
Indoor ballroom and an outdoor deck for meetings and receptions. Ask the hotel about outside beverage vendors.
Crescent Park, Laureate Park
A neighborhood park that hosts outdoor movie nights and community gatherings, a natural fit for resident events.
Corporate Campuses
Lobbies, courtyards, and training centers across Medical City and nearby campuses. Coordinate access and placement with your facilities team.
Permits, Venue Rules, and Weather in Lake Nona
Lake Nona is inside the City of Orlando, so events in city parks follow the City of Orlando Special Events Guide, including a permit for any event with a vendor. Hotels and campuses set their own vendor rules, so check with your venue or facilities team.
Summer afternoons bring frequent storms, with lightning risk highest from 2 to 8 PM. For outdoor events, we recommend evening service and plan a covered backup, like a lobby, breezeway, or covered patio. The Lake Nona Farmers Market runs on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month, so plan around it for Town Center events. See the Lake Nona events calendar for dates.
