Vacation Home Events and Family Reunions
Kissimmee has thousands of vacation homes, many with private pools, game rooms, and space for the whole family. That makes it one of Central Florida’s favorite places for reunions and group getaways. Experience Kissimmee even offers free planning help for family reunions, weddings, and quinceañeras.
A coffee cart at your vacation home turns an ordinary afternoon into a gathering. We set up on the pool deck, lanai, or driveway, serve your group, and pack out when we’re done. Every rental and community has its own rules, so check your property’s guidelines and any gate access before your event (vacation home FAQ).
Downtown, the Kissimmee Valley Farmers Market fills Lakefront Park on the first and third Friday evenings of each month, hosted by Kissimmee Main Street. Kissimmee also hosts big annual events, like the Osceola County Fair and the Silver Spurs Rodeo, that fill the calendar and the roads. Check the Kissimmee events guide when choosing your date, and book early for those weeks.
Kissimmee Venues to Consider
Always confirm vendor policies with your venue or property before booking.
Vacation Homes
Private pool decks and lanais are perfect for family gatherings. Confirm your rental’s event rules and community access.
Kissimmee Lakefront Park
A city park on Lake Tohopekaliga with reservable pavilions for family events like birthdays and reunions. Pavilion rentals run from 9 AM to 9 PM, and renters are responsible for their vendors (City of Kissimmee).
Resorts
Many Kissimmee resorts run their own catering, and some don’t allow outside caterers. Ask your resort’s event team whether an outside beverage vendor is allowed before booking.
Permits, Venue Rules, and Weather in Kissimmee
Park Rentals and Permits
City of Kissimmee pavilion rentals are for family events, and renters must remove all food and trash. Larger special events need a city permit, which takes about four weeks, with liability insurance naming the city.
Private Event Service
Mabu is a staffed coffee cart for private events. We serve your invited guests at your home, park pavilion, or venue, not the general public.
Kissimmee Weather
Summer afternoons bring frequent storms, with lightning risk highest from 2 to 8 PM. For pool deck and park events, we recommend evening service and a covered backup, like a lanai, garage, or pavilion.
